Portfolio Content: Career Exploration 2016

My Dream Job

You have probably asked yourself “What is my dream job?” This is a tough question but one that we all explore at one time or another. As we progress into the downhill of the '15-16 school year, it is one we will explore right now.

Essential Question

To start our career unit for the portfolio, you will first research your dream job, take a closer look at your career choice and then explore the essential question “What is my dream job?” by writing a half to full page reflection.

To Do

  1. Open a Word doc - save as career16 in your CSB Tri2 folder
  2. Locate your career choice from the index at http://www.bls.gov/ooh/ -- the 2015 Occupational Outlook Handbook
  3. Title your doc - My Dream Job - Job Title (list the job title please)
  4. Copy the quick facts table to the top of your doc after the title.
  5. You will read through each of the tabs and write a short summary of each in your doc - using the same titles as the tabs

    • Work Environment
    • How to become one
    • Pay
