Week 1: September 3 – 7

    • 1st Years
      1. CSB Top 10 – like the David Letterman days of old, you need to identify the top 10 most important things you (and your team) find in the CSB handbook (each item needs to come from a different section, i.e., no two come from the same section like "Grading Policy." Short sentences (like in the top 10) but with impact. 1st Year Teams
          1. Each individual & your group will be responsible for going through the entire Handbook and understanding it's contents
          2. Each group will create (draw) a creative poster that you will present to class on Friday - a la David Letterman - you will have some time to research/read the handbook today and start planning your poster - we will have more time to finalize during photoshoot tomorrow
    • 2nd Years
      1. 30-second Elevator Pitch – imagine you get in an elevator with a CSB first year (or two, or three). They are going to the 15th floor. You have 30 seconds to tell them about your unique skills and what you have to offer the 1st year Beasts.
        1. Remember to introduce yourself - think in terms of what you are good at an have to offer - this is a great precourser to your resume profile
        2. Today you will write this out as a "script" that you will turn in (we have notecards) - tomorrow we will give back to you and after practicing, you will record yourself and send in to Rogan and Sinks
        3. On Friday, you will each go live in front of the class
